This Sourdough Starter is beautifully packaged to make it the perfect gift for that special someone in your life. It could be someone that is trying to become more self sufficient to perpetuate normalcy in an ever changing world or someone who wants to eat healthier by making bread at home with simple ingredients that you can pronounce.
Our starter is Freeze-Dried and packaged in house, with the air removed and an oxygen absorber into a cute heart that is recessed into a wooden “mason jar” cut out and topped with a bow.
On the back of your starter you will find a sticker that says: “Hi my name is:_______” If you don’t like the name of your starter, you are free of course to pick your own.
Each Starter also comes with an instruction card, and the following description on the back:
“Please meet one of many offspring of Beth Doughton, whose mother Sofia is an heirloom starter that is over 100 years old. Beth Doughton is a very resilient and feisty starter that makes yummy sourdough bread and discard treats.
Your sourdough starter has been freeze dried & packaged with the air removed and an oxygen absorber. Until you are ready to use, please store in a cool/dry place. Follow
instruction on included card to wake up your starter.
Ingredients: Organic Flour & Filtered Water.
This starter is made on equipment that processes milk, wheat, corn, eggs, & soy.”
Each Heart Contains 14g of Sourdough Starter.
