Our starter is Freeze-Dried and packaged in house, with the air removed and an oxygen absorber, each starter comes with an instruction card, and the following description on the back: “Please meet one of many offspring of Beth Doughton, whose mother Sofia is an heirloom starter that is over 100 years old. Beth Doughton is a very resilient and feisty starter that makes yummy sourdough bread and discard treats. Your sourdough starter has been freeze dried & packaged with the air removed and an oxygen absorber. Until you are ready to use, please store in a cool/dry place. Follow instruction on included card to wake up your starter. Ingredients: Organic Flour & Filtered Water. This starter is made on equipment that processes milk, wheat, corn, eggs, & soy.” Each package contains 14g of Sourdough Starter.
